IPL 2024: [WATCH]- Michael Vaughan Plays Street Cricket In Mumbai’s Suburbs

Former England Cricketer Michael Vaughan is currently in India for the 17th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024). He is embracing the vibrant culture of the country and sharing his experiences through social media.

Recently, he was spotted getting a shave at a local barber shop in Mumbai. In his latest post, he is seen playing street cricket with children in the suburbs of Mumbai. He shared a video on his social media, showcasing his interaction with the children, while also criticizing Indian pitches for their lack of bounce, a sentiment echoed by many foreign players.

He posted two separate videos, one highlighting the famous “one-hand one-bounce” dismissal used by local kids in their games.

“Kids just so happy to play the game anywhere in Mumbai. Loved playing with the kids in #Mumbai .. similar pitch to the Test pitches #India,” Vaughan tweeted.

“Kids just so happy to play the game anywhere in #Mumbai … surely it should be one hand one bounce of the motorbike … #India,” he added in another tweet.

Rajasthan Royals appoint Vaughan as their social media head

Considering former England captain Michael Vaughan’s frequent activity on social media, it was fitting that Rajasthan Royals recently appointed him as their head of social media for the rest of IPL 2024.

Vaughan shared the announcement by uploading a self-portrait in front of the iconic Gateway of India. In the photo, he can be seen wearing a Rajasthan Royals jersey, indicating his association with the team.

“So pleased to have signed for the biggest franchise @rajasthanroyals to become head of social media .. Watch this space for great content .. ” tweeted Vaughan.

Rajasthan Royals’ upcoming game is against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium on April 6th.
