IPL 2024: [WATCH]- Virat Kohli’s Elegant ‘Swivel Pull’ For A Six Against Nandre Burger Sparks Joy Among Jaipur Fans

Virat Kohli showcased his skills in Jaipur on Saturday after Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson won the toss and elected for RCB to bat first. The influential Indian batsman displayed impressive shots against RR’s new ball bowlers Trent Boult and Nandre Burger.

Kohli’s remarkable performance, especially sending the South African left-arm quick into the stands, left everyone amazed. In the 19th match of IPL 2024, Samson & Co. donned a unique ‘Pink Promise’ jersey in front of their home crowd.

Despite this, Kohli was relentless, hitting two fours off Burger in the first over and then capitalizing further in the subsequent over.

Burger delivered a short ball aimed towards Kohli’s body, which Kohli skillfully capitalized on, executing a magnificent pull shot by using the ball’s pace. The ball soared over deep backward square leg for a six, marking the first maximum of the evening.

Kohli’s outstanding performance in the 2024 IPL season has earned him the prestigious Orange Cap, presented to the player with the highest run count in the tournament.

His latest feat occurred during an impressive display against the Rajasthan Royals, where he achieved his highest score at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur.

Kohli has a history of setting records in the IPL, being the initial player to reach milestones like 6,000, 6,500, and 7,000 runs in the tournament. Currently, he is poised to be the first player globally to achieve 8,000 runs for a single team.

Even though the Sawai Man Singh Stadium has been tough for him, Kohli started the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s batting turn with a lot of energy.

With help from RCB captain Faf du Plessis, Kohli hit a bunch of boundaries against the Rajasthan Royals bowlers to show his impressive skills and determination in IPL 2024, reaching his fifty runs.
