Rishabh Pant, purchased by Lucknow Super Giants for INR 27 crore, has struggled with the bat in IPL 2025. His poor form continued against Mumbai Indians, where Lucknow lost by 54 runs. Pant attempted a reverse sweep but ended up getting caught for just four runs. After the match, Pant addressed his form, stating that blaming one player isn’t fair, as cricket is a team game.
In the 10 matches played during IPL 2025, Rishabh Pant has managed only 110 runs, with an average of 12.22 and a strike rate of 98.21. His scores so far are 0, 15, 2, 2, 21, 63, 3, 0, and 4.
“Keeping it simple and not thinking about it too much. In a season like this, where things are not going your way, you’re going to start questioning yourself as a player – that’s not something you want to do.
