IPL 2025: [WATCH]- Jofra Archer Left Stunned As Spencer Johnson Shatters The Stumps

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) pacer Spencer Johnson delivered a beauty to dismiss Rajasthan Royals’ tailender Jofra Archer in match six of IPL 2025 in Guwahati. The Australian fast bowler pitched the ball in the middle, sending Archer’s off-stump cartwheeling in the final over as RR lost their ninth wicket.

Before his dismissal, Archer provided a late boost for Rajasthan Royals, smashing 16 runs off just six balls, including two massive sixes. Batting at number nine, he unleashed powerful hits after arriving at the crease in the penultimate over with RR at 131/7.

However, just before taking his team past the 150-run mark, Jofra Archer was undone by a 135 kmph delivery from Spencer Johnson, which rattled his off-stump. It was Johnson’s only wicket of the match but a crucial one for KKR. You can watch the video here:

After being asked to bat first by KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane, Rajasthan Royals managed to post 151/9 in their 20 overs. KKR’s bowling attack was led by Vaibhav Arora, Moeen Ali, and Varun Chakravarthy, who each claimed two wickets.

Harshit Rana also contributed with two dismissals, including key wickets of Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer. For Rajasthan Royals, Jurel was the top scorer, anchoring the innings with a composed 33 off 28 balls, which included five well-timed boundaries.

Harshit Rana Celebrates with Knee-Walk After Catching Yashasvi Jaiswal

Harshit Rana must have felt the most relieved at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium after Yashasvi Jaiswal’s dismissal. Rajasthan Royals had a shaky start, losing their captain and opener, Sanju Samson, early in the innings. Riyan Parag looked promising at the crease but couldn’t stay for long.

At that stage, Jaiswal’s presence was crucial for RR, as he needed to build a significant innings. The left-hander also got a lucky break when Harshit Rana dropped a return catch off his own bowling. You can watch the video here:
