The IPL 2020 is fast approaching its climax as teams are battling it out to advance through to playoffs. So far only Mumbai Indians have qualified and the remaining three spots are still up for grabs. Recently Pragyan Ojha predicted the top 4 sides that will proceed further in the competition.
The likes of Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals need just one win to get through to the playoffs. Whereas Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab are still in contention to cement their position in the top 4.
Pragyan Ojha Picks His Top 4 teams
Former India cricketer Ojha believes that MI, RCB and DC and Kings XI Punjab are prime contenders to finish in the top 4. Ojha added that this has been a very different IPL season as the top 4 are still undecided. Former spinner has also pointed out that he wants all the Indians captains to do well hence emotionally picked these 4 sides.
“As I’ve been saying, this has been a weird season as far as the IPL is concerned and it’s very different this year. So I’m not going with my cricketing brain [to pick the playoffs qualifying teams]. I’m going with my emotion and I want all my Indian captains to be doing well”.
So it will be MI [Mumbai Indians], obviously you know, now Pollard is leading[ in Rohit’s absence] but Rohit is the captain. Next is DC [Delhi Capitals] with Shreyas Iyer as captain, then RCB with Virat Kohli as captain, and then Kings XI Punjab led by KL Rahul”, Pragyan Ojha said on Sports Today.

Meanwhile, the time for prediction has begun as only 4 matches remain in the league stages. Defending champs MI are happily sitting in the top 2 and waiting for the other teams to pass for the IPL playoffs.
After both the matches today everyone will get a clearer picture of the team progressing further in the competition. Furthermore, tomorrow’s match between DC and RCB is a virtual knockout as the team winning will certainly find a place in the playoffs.
