The ace all-rounder from Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan, snubbed some prominent names in T20 cricket, as he picked his all-time IPL XI. Incidentally, the franchise league based in India has witnessed some of the biggest names in world cricket rub shoulders with Indian cricketers.
During an interaction with Sportskeeda, Shakib Al Hasan picked a star-studded line-up despite leaving out AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle. The all-rounder went with Rohit Sharma and David Warner as openers followed by Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli as No.3 batsman.
Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni, and KL Rahul form the middle-order in Shakib Al Hasan’s all-time IPL XI. Chennai Super Kings captain Dhoni, who has won three IPL titles, is also the skipper of the dream IPL team.
Ravindra Jadeja and Ben Stokes are the two all-rounders while Lasith Malinga, Jasprit Bumrah, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were the three pacers in the line-up. Shakib Al Hasan didn’t pick any specialist spinner in his all-time IPL XI.

Bangladesh will come to T20 World Cup with winning mentality: Shakib Al Hasan
Shakib Al Hasan believes Bangladesh will land in the UAE and Oman with a winning mentality following recent series victories against Australia and New Zealand. The all-rounder, who will be seen in the second phase of IPL 2021, said that the tournament will benefit everyone heading to the T20 World Cup.
“I am hopeful that the IPL will help everyone,” Shakib said to ESPNCricinfo. “We will be spending time in those conditions, play matches too. Mustafiz and I can share the experience with the rest of the team. We will understand the other players’ mindset, what they are thinking about the World Cup, and then report it back to our players,” he added.
