Shreyas Gopal has always been an underrated player for Rajasthan Royals in his IPL career. His ability to pick wickets of some of the best batsmen of the opposition is priceless. The leg-spinner today was sensational against the Mighty Mumbai Indians at Abu Dhabi.

This is a must-win for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2020. A win against MI will still give them an outside chance of qualifying for the playoffs. The match is currently well poised with Royals bowlers trying their best to restrict MI to a moderate score.

Shreyas Gopal Removes Kieron Pollard With A Googly

Coming back to Gopal, he was top class in his impactful 4 overs spell. The leggie took two important wickets in the same over including that of Kieron Pollard. The MI skipper had a dramatic 4 balls stay in the middle with action on every ball.

He defended his first ball back to Gopal and both shared a stare after the delivery. Next ball Gopal generously flighted a traditional leg spinner to which Pollard decided to go through with his shot. Initially, Pollard was beaten in the air but still had the power to hit for a six.

After this Gopal knew he was in business as Pollard looked in an aggressive mood. The royals spinner held his nerves and produced a magical googly that cleaned by Pollard. The MI captain had no clue as he was beaten all ends up, Gopal castled Pollard for just 6 and made a mess of his middle and off stump.

This was a huge moment in the match as Pollard has been unstoppable with the bat this season. Gopal once again picked a huge wicket of the opposing side and showcased his class. The Royals side knew the importance of the prized scalp of Pollard and immediately rushed in to celebrate with Gopal.
