The former captain of South Africa, Faf du Plessis, has openly praised the Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and declared him to be the most powerful bowler in the current international cricket scenario. Du Plessis recognized Bumrah’s remarkable talent and regularity in all formats of the game. The assessment of the South African legend clearly indicates that Bumrah’s authority in the world of cricket is acknowledged by all.

Bumrah has gained his position as the best bowler in the world through his remarkable performances and achievements. His technical brilliance, accuracy, and the quality of being able to perform well in difficult situations have put him above the rest. The Indian quick’s adaptation to the challenges of Test, One Day International, and Twenty20 cricket is a clear indication of his complete control over the sport.

Faf du Plessis has praised Jasprit Bumrah as the most difficult bowler to confront in the entire world. He also humorously wished that he would not get to play against Bumrah in SA20, which is South Africa’s leading T20 league.
During the SA20 India Day celebration in Mumbai, the captain of Joburg Super Kings, du Plessis, made a statement,  “Bumrah is the toughest bowler in the world to face. Hope we don’t see him in SA20.”
After he was injured and received treatment, he returned in April of the year, and since then Bumrah has kept his stunning streak going in every format of the game. Recently he was a major contributor in India’s victory over Australia in the T20I series by 2-1, as he had three wickets with the effort of 6.58. Beyond digits being very high, Bumrah’s impact has been very important.
He is the 31-year-old who, having played 79 T20Is, has already bagged 99 wickets in 77 innings at an average of 18.11 and an economy rate of 6.36 making him India’s second-highest wicket-taker in the format after Arshdeep Singh.
