Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah both are a part of the 20-man squad announced for the World Test Championship followed by the England Test series. The BCCI has selected a well-rounded squad with enough depth in both batting and bowling resources. The WTC final will be held in Southampton after which the England Test series is distributed among a few venues.
Meanwhile, in a recent chat with Cricbuzz, Mohammed Shami opened up on the depth of the Indian pace attack, the WTC final and the upcoming England tour. Shami opened up the light side of himself and Ishant Sharma spending hours joking around and having a fun time. He also added that the whole bunch of the Indian team waits for them to start with their antics.
He revealed how the Indian pacers pull each other’s legs while also adding that Jasprit Bumrah is a serious kind of guy who does not like to crack jokes.

Jasprit Bumrah Takes Jokes To Heart: Mohammed Shami
“We like pulling each other’s leg. I enjoy it. Bumrah is slightly different, he doesn’t joke around much. He sometimes takes it to heart. But Umesh, Bhuvi and Ishant – we are a deadly combination.”
The current India pace attack is recognized as among the best in the modern era. The veteran fast bowler further added that players comprehend each other well and know how to support and back each other during the game.
We Have Enough Attacking Options With The Ball: Mohammed Shami
“We’ve been playing as a unit for few years now,” Shami said. Whoever we is bowling with, our aim is to leave the other (bowling from the other end) with enough attacking options. If you aren’t liking the way the ball is acting, be defensive and let the other attack. The main thing is we all like to attack. Neither of us likes to be defensive” said Shami.
