Jofra Archer was frustrated with an umpiring decision and didn’t hold back as he was caught abusing them during the 4th T20I at Hyderabad. The England fast bowler was clearly upset when the on-field umpire awarded India a wide which seemed that it was a marginal call and could have gone either way. Archer immediately was seen shaking his head in anger and while he was going to his bowling mark he said ‘Fuck**** cheater’.Â
Now, this was clearly unexpected from a bowler like Archer who is known for keeping his cool on the cricket field. Nevertheless, he let it all out and the video of him abusing the home umpire surfaced on the internet which disappointed a lot of Indian cricket team fans. Apart from this shocking revelation Archer had a dream match as he picked 4 wickets and also scored runs during the end which gave England hope of winning the math.

Now it will be interesting to see whether the match referee punishes Archer for his act or just gives him a warning. The England team will be hoping that Archer is just given a warning and he plays the decider of the T20I series on Saturday. The England fast bowler has been unplayable at times in the series and bowled at his best which is why England have won 2 T20Is.
Talking about the umpiring in the 4th T20I it was shocking, to say the least. Several calls went against India whether it be Suryakumar Yadav’s soft signal or the Washington Sundar decision when it seemed that Adil Rashid touched the boundary cushions while completing the catch. Both umpiring decisions went against India which is why it was felt that India was around 10-15 runs short after their 20 overs.
Still team India showed great character and fighting spirit with the ball and levelled the series 2-2. The visitors fell short of the target by 8 runs and the series is now locked at 2-2. The final T20I series will be played at Ahmedabad tomorrow from 7 PM onwards.
