The Rajasthan Royals side has always been a fortress of young players. If we recall, Ravindra Jadeja originated as a Rockstar player from the Rajasthan side. This year too the Royals have acquired the services of Yashasvi Jaiswal who has been the talk of the town.
Ever since the U-19 World Cup took place, everyone has been talking about the young boy from Mumbai. Now even his companion Jos Buttler has showered praise the youngster calling Jaiswal a huge talent.
Jos Buttler who landed in the UAE two days ago after the conclusion of the England – Australia series is in quarantine for 6 days. Which is why Buttler won’t be featuring for the side in their opening game vs Chennai Super Kings on 22nd September.
Perhaps in the absence of Buttler, the Royals might just open the innings with Yashasvi Jaiswal since he’s one attacking batsmen.
Jaiswal is such a huge talent – Jos Buttler
During Rajasthan Royals Instagram Live, Buttler had nothing but absolute praise for the young batsmen in the side. He’s been following him since the U-19 World Cup and particularly praised him for his performance during that tournament.
“I have not met him yet but I am really excited to see that he has joined the Royals. He has been doing brilliantly well for India U-19 and he is such a huge talent. I am looking forward to meeting him and watching him bat”.
