The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is round the corner and the pundits have already started analysing the teams and predicting winners. Recently, former New Zealand all-rounder Scott Styris predicted how the IPL 2020 points table will shape up after the league stages.

The T20 blitz is one of the most contested leagues across the globe. The fierce competition, nail-biting finish makes IPL one of its kind. The 13th edition of the league in the UAE will be no different. Franchises are in the final leg of the preparation and they will leave no stone unturned to lift the illustrious trophy.

Rajasthan Royals will finish last in points table – Styris

With less than a week to go for IPL 2020, Scott Styris has dared to predict the points table after group stages. While Delhi Capitals, defending champions Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Chennai Super Kings finished in the top four, Rajasthan Royals will finish in the last spot of the points table predicted Styris.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals were quick to spot the tweet from Scott Styris. They took an indirect dig at the former Chennai Super Kings all-rounder saying that they are saving the tweet for later.

The franchise led by Steve Smith will be keen to prove Styris wrong as they hunt for their second IPL trophy after 2008.

“Just casually saving the tweet here,” Rajasthan Royals tweeted.

Rajasthan Royals are likely to miss the service of ace all-rounder Ben Stokes in the first half of IPL 2020. The cricketer is currently in New Zealand to be with his family with his father suffering from brain cancer. A couple of days back head coach Andrew McDonald admitted that they are not sure of Stokes’ participation. He also shared his thoughts with the Stokes family.

The franchise will begin their IPL 2020 campaign against three-time champions Chennai Super Kings on September 22.

On the other hand, Scott Styris will be a part of the Star Sports Select Dug Out team in IPL 2020. They will be calling the game from the studio in Mumbai. The team will analyse the minute details of the game.
