One of the finest T20 players in the world, Kieron Pollard, has revealed his list of Top 5 T20 players of all time. The list contains the name of some giants of T20 cricket, but there are some big-ticket players who are missing. Pollard didn’t include the highest run-getter in T20 international cricket and the captain of the Indian team, Virat Kohli. Rohit Sharma, the vice-captain of the Indian limited-overs cricket team and the skipper of the Mumbai Indians, was also left out of Pollard’s list.
The Universe Boss, Chris Gayle was the first name to feature in Pollard’s list. Gayle, 42, is still a strong force in T20 cricket, and he plays in all of the franchise cricket leagues across the world. So his Caribbean mate taking his name is not at all a surprise.
The second name on the list was the Yorker King from Sri Lanka, Lasith Malinga. He is regarded as one of the best bowlers in the T20 format. Especially for the death overs, captains have always trusted the 38-year old and he has delivered more times than not. Also, the pacer is currently the leading wicket-taker in T20 International Cricket.
Three from the West Indies, and a player each from India and Sri Lanka 🌟

The third name in Pollard’s list of greatest T20 players was of fellow Trinidadian Sunil Narine. The mystery spinner has been one of the most versatile bowlers in this format of cricket and has shown his prowess in all phases of an innings. In the past few years, Sunil has also made a name for himself as a pinch-hitter.
Kieron Pollard in the IPL particularly likes playing against one team, and that is CSK. And it is the captain of the same team who features as the 4th name in his list. MS Dhoni is undoubtedly one of the most successful captains of limited-overs cricket. He has won a T20 World Cup, 3 IPL Titles and 2 CLT20 titles as a captain.
My records speak for themselves when it comes to T20 cricket: Kieron Pollard
When it came to the 5th player on the list, Pollard named himself.Pollard also stated that Dwayne Bravo is pretty close to being in his top five choices, adding that a team needs XI players and not just 5.
“Number 5, if it’s my world XI T20 then I got to be there, I’ve got to play. I will be number 5 and my record speaks for itself when it comes to T20 cricket. That’s my 5 and Bravo, yes he is there and thereabouts. There is only five for now but remember a team is made up of 11″, said Pollard during the conversation with ICC.
