Kieron Pollard took a one-handed stunner for MI Emirates against Desert Vipers in the 15th match of the International League T20 tournament played at Sheikh Zayed International Stadium, Abu Dhabi on 24 January 2023.
Desert Vipers captain Colin Munro won the toss and decided to field first. MI Emirates lost 2 early wickets before Andre Fletcher and Pooran added 43 runs for the 3rd wicket. Kieron Pollard looked in sensational form with brutal hitting keeping the momentum going. Pooran and Pollard added 116 runs for the 4th wicket. The captain led from the front with an unbeaten 67 off 39 balls with 1 four and 6 sixes that helped MI Emirates post 169 for 5.
Colin Munro and Alex Hales looked in decent touch after losing wicket in the first over. The things looked bright for Desert Vipers before Kieron Pollard took a stunning catch at long-on to dismiss Colin Munro in the 8th over. Munro and Hales added 72 runs for the 2nd wicket. Despite taking a stunning catch, MI Emirates could not defend the target. Desert Vipers registered a comprehensive 7-wicket win with 21 balls to spare.

Kieron Pollard did not lose his shape as he took a one-handed stunner to dismiss Colin Munro. Sherfane Rutherford and Hales added unbeaten 94 runs for the 4th wicket. It was a remarkable catch by Pollard who has shown tremendous form.
Trent Boult took 1 wicket while Samit Patel grabbed 2 wickets for 23 runs for the MI Emirates. Desert Vipers is currently at the number 1 spot with 8 points from 5 matches while MI Emirates is at the number 3 spot with 6 points from 5 matches.
