He arranged a question and answer session with his followers on Twitter, where he revealed quite a few interesting aspects. Rahul, who made his Test debut under Dhoni in 2014/15, was asked by a user to pick his favourite memory with the former India captain. In reply, he picked his 107-run partnership with Dhoni as his favourite memory. “I think our partnership in the game vs the West Indies in Miami,” Rahul wrote.

The partnership was made in the first T20I of the two-match series against West Indies at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Florida. While chasing 246, KL Rahul and Dhoni had a 107-run partnership in just 49 balls for the fourth wicket.

Despite such a huge tally on the board, KL Rahul and MS Dhoni tried their heart out and missed it by a margin of only one run. KL Rahul has scored a century and made himself as one of the top choices in the shorter format of the game during those times.

KL Rahul had a stellar time:

On the work front, KL Rahul had a sensational time with the bat in the limited-overs series against Australia and New Zealand. He has scored one century and four fifty-plus scores in his last ten innings in ODIs and T20Is combined.

Besides that, he was also made the captain of Kings XI Punjab in Indian Premier League 2020. On the other hand, MS Dhoni was all set to resume his cricket with CSK during IPL but unfortunately, the virus breakout halted his plans.

As far as cricket is concerned, all sporting events have been suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. The future of the sport is still unknown.
