Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh engaged in a fun banter on Instagram with leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. The all-rounder posted a hilarious comment on Chahal’s latest post.
On Sunday (June 5), Yuzvendra Chahal took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with a bottle guard in his hand. The cricketer is holding the bottler guard like a cricket bat. The post was for a commercial advertisement for a new show which was recently released on an OTT platform.
Yuvraj Singh poked fun at Yuzvendra Chahal by commenting that the vegetable is the same size as Chahal himself. He wrote, “Looks like your lauki is the same size as you.”

Yuzvendra Chahal had a brilliant outing in the Indian Premier League 2022 season. He repaid the faith of the Rajasthan Royals franchise and once again proved his worth in the shortest format. The leg-spinner was picked by the Rajasthan Royals for a whopping Rs. 6.50 crores, at the 2022 Mega auctions.
In seventeen matches, Yuzvendra Chahal took 27 wickets at an average of 19.51 and at an economy rate of 7.75. His tally includes a five-wicket and a four-wicket haul. Chahal’s best figures of 40/5 came against the Kolkata Knight Riders this season. He dismissed Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Mavi, and Pat Cummins in consecutive deliveries to bag a hat-trick.
Venkatesh Iyer and Nitish Rana were his two other wickets in the match. The Rajasthan Royals went on to win the match by four wickets. Chahal played a key role throughout the season for the franchise. Unfortunately, they could not go past the last hurdle and finished the season as runners-up.
The leg-spinner was awarded for his brilliant IPL 2022 performance with a place in the Indian team. Chahal was included in the 18-member Indian squad for the T20I series against South Africa. The series is all set to begin on June 9 in Delhi.
