Way back in 1992, the Devdas lady in a chat with India Today revealed that she found Sunil Gavaskar to be sexy. “I am mad for Sunil Gavaskar. He is too sexy. I want to run behind him and he even came in my dream. I have seen him playing cricket for India and I like so much,” the lady was quoted saying. Madhuri Dixit was at her career peak when she admitted her love for 43-year-old who had hung his boots by then.

Gavaskar was considered as the greatest batsman of his era when he had to face the likes of Jewel Garner and Malcolm Marshall. Back then, he was the highest run-scorer in test and had the maximum number of centuries in his time. Gavaskar represented India in 125 test matches scoring 10122 runs with a healthy average of 51.12.
