Maharaja Trophy Relocates to Mysuru

The Maharaja Trophy shifted to Wadeyar Stadium, Mysuru, brandishing a rare exception to the rule. The competition is leaving Bengaluru completely only in the third season in 12 years. This last occurred, in fact, in 2015 and 2016. The Wadeyar Stadium, operated by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), started to put up temporary stands and the pitches’ preparation areas in order to host the event.

The KSCA, however, has resolved to forgo its previous strategy of not permitting fans in the stadiums although the venue has changed. This choice was held with respect to the Bengaluru venue earlier and will be subjected to this Mysuru venue as well. It will be a pleasurable tournament with teams trying to win the top honors in the cricketing action.

It is a breakthrough that the Maharaja Trophy has been shifted to Mysuru and the KSCA is busy making the tournament a successful one. The Wadeyar Stadium will perfectly serve as a setting for the matches with the erected temporary stands and pitch preparation zones. The tournament has been scheduled to start on the 11th of August and fans of cricket are waiting to observe their favorite teams playing the event.
