Marcus Stoinis brought out his best performance for Delhi Capitals on the second qualifier against SRH on Sunday. He scored 38 off 27 balls, opening the batting with Shikhar Dhawan. With the ball, he picked up 3 for 26 including the key wickets of Manish Pandey and Kane Williamson.

Every time he took a wicket in the game, he brought out his hulk celebration, which amazed the viewers. After the game, he revealed the reason behind his celebration to his DC skipper Shreyas Iyer.

Speaking after the game in a video shared by BCCI, Marcus Stoinis is seen speaking about his performance on the second qualifier. In the same video, Shreyas Iyer asked him about his hulk celebration. The all-rounder from Australia had a very interesting take on the same as well.

“Apparently this is what I am looking like when I am celebrating my wicket. That’s sticky. Now every time when I celebrate, I think I look like this (Hulk),” Stoinis said in a video shared by IPL’s official website post the DC versus SRH match in Abu Dhabi on Monday.

“When you roam around us, we feel like this huge guy coming in and out. Just try to stay away from me. You can get angry any time,” DC skipper Iyer told Stoinis during the fun chat after DC’s win over SRH in Qualifier 2.

Marcus Stoinis is heavily built with ripped muscles and it was a very muscular performance with the bat from the Australian all-rounder. He was traded before the season from RCB by Delhi Capitals. This was a masterstroke move from the think tank.

Stoinis has scored 352 runs from 16 games and picked up 12 wickets for the Capitals this season. He has a chance to add to that tally in the IPL 2020 final on November 10 (Tuesday).
