Ever since he scored a couple of half-centuries for Chennai Super Kings at the fag end of IPL 2020, Ruturaj Gaikwad became a household name in the country. He continued his batting brilliance in the current season forming a dependable partnership with Faf du Plessis at the top-order before BCCI stopped the tournament midway due to the COVID-19 crisis.

And now after he commented on a post of a famous Marathi actress Sayali Sanjeev, speculations are going round that Ruturaj Gaikwad is dating the actress. Thereafter, Gaikwad reacted to the actresses’ post and wrote, ‘Woahh.’ The actress responded to the cricketer’s comment with some heart emojis.

Their short conversation on Instagram was enough for the netizens to make all sorts of speculations regarding their relationship.

Meanwhile, Ruturaj Gaikwad finally reacted to the speculations stating that only bowlers can take his wickets. and not anyone else. His post was in Marathi, which translated to “Only bowlers can take my wicket, that too clean bowled. Not anyone else. And whoever wanted to understand, have understood.”

Meanwhile, Sayali Sanjeev is a popular actress and has featured in a lot of Marathi TV soaps. She is known for the Zee Marathi Serial ‘Kahe Diya Pardes’ where she is doing a lead role of ‘Gauri’. Sayali is born in Dhule District in Maharashtra and has completed her school from Dhule and college from Nasik by doing an arts degree.

The actress is yet to comment on the relationship speculations with Ruturaj Gaikwad.

Ruturaj Gaikwad had a fine run in IPL 2021

Meanwhile, speaking about Ruturaj Gaikwad’s professional career, he managed 196 runs at an average and strike rate of 28 and 128.94 respectively. His top score of 75 came against the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

On the back of his knock, the Super Kings won the match in a comfortable manner. The batter from Maharashtra also played a fine knock against Kolkata Knight Riders and will hope to keep up the good run when the tournament resumes later this year.
