Former England skipper Michael Vaughan has picked three players to watch out for in the World Test Championship final. The final will be played between June 18-22 with the ICC having a reserve day as well. The ICC has also announced that the teams will be announced joint winners in case of a tie of a draw. The final will be played in Southampton.
Meanwhile, Michael Vaughan has picked 3 players who he thinks will play a decisive role in the final. He has made unique choices as he has not chosen any of the usual suspects from both teams. His three choices are Rishabh Pant, Kyle Jamieson and Kiwi wicketkeeper-batsman BJ Watling.

Michael Vaughan Picks 3 Players To Watch Out For In WTC Final
“First is Kyle Jamieson as he’s had a magnificent start to his Test career. Next is Rishabh Pant as he’s the star of the world game. He has been incredible over the last few months, especially against Australia and England. Next, I’ll go with BJ Watling in his swansong as he’s been a fantastic servant for New Zealand cricket,” Vaughan told CricTracker.
Michael Vaughan has been very decisive and sensible with his picks. Pant has had a dream run in Test cricket since the Australia tour, Jamieson brings the X-factor for New Zealand with both bat and ball. Having played alongside Kohli in the IPL recently, his face-off with Kohli will be key to the outcome of the game. Watling will retire after the WTC final which makes the occasion all the more special for him.
Michael Vaughan touched upon The Hundred, believing it to be a massive success. This is the newest format in the game of cricket and has a feeling of freshness attached with it.
“The Hundred had a lot of criticism. I love T20 cricket; great razzmatazz, but it goes on for too long; there’s time-outs; there’s too much talking in between balls and it goes on forever. The Hundred is going to be the next big thing in world cricket,” Vaughan said.
