Indian women have been ruthless in the T20 World Cup till now. Winning two of heir two games, the side is looking to clinch the cup in style. The ability of each and every individual to step up in times of collapse has been their biggest strengths. Jemmiah, Mithali Raj and Harmanpreet proved their grit and class in the two games.
Mithali Raj was at her best in the match against Pakistan. The Indian ODI skipper who hadn’t got a chance against New Zealand opened the innings in the next game and scored a fine fifty as she led the chase with ease. Mithali even became the highest run-getter for India in the shortest format of the game surpassing Rohit Sharma.
In the post-match press conference, Mithali said that she was really happy to contribute with the bat and looking forward to lifting the title. Speaking on team balance she appreciated youngsters for their consistency in the middle. However, she hinted that this would be her one final ICC World T20 and she was sceptical on her availability for the next edition.
The video released by ESPN Cricinfo in Twitter is really doing rounds in the social media. The 35-year old Mithali Raj is also the highest run-getter among women in the limited overs. Her batting position has been variable in the shorter formats for some time now.

India will face Ireland in their next match at Guyana on Thursday (November 15). They are currently ranked second in the points table next to Australia and in all possibilities, the side will look to book their semi-final berth in the game.
