The Indian Cricket Team will take on Sri Lanka in the 3-match ODI series against Sri Lanka starting on 10 January 2023. Mohammed Shami makes a return to the squad after missing the series against Bangladesh due to an injury.

Shami was included in the ODI and T20I series against Bangladesh last year. He was ruled out of the entire tour due to a shoulder injury. Umran Malik replaced Mohammed Shami in the ODI series while Jaydev Unadkat replaced him in the Test series.

Premier pace bowlers included in the ODI series

The Indian team would be looking to start their World Cup preparation on a winning note. They will take on Sri Lanka in 3 match ODI series. Jasprit Bumrah has been added after recovering from an injury while Mohammed Shami has been named. Both premier pacers would look to prove their worth after sustaining injuries.
