A Stellar Career with New South Wales

Henriques made his First-Class debut in 2006 and quickly established himself as a key player for New South Wales. Throughout his career, he contributed significantly to the team’s success, helping them secure three Sheffield Shield titles.

In addition to his batting prowess, Henriques also showcased his skills as a bowler, taking 96 wickets with two five-wicket hauls, including a standout performance of 5 for 17 in just his second First-Class match. His all-round capabilities have made him a valuable asset to the team, and his contributions will be remembered by fans and teammates alike.

Future Endeavors in Domestic Cricket

Despite his retirement from First-Class cricket, Henriques is not stepping away from the game entirely. He will remain available for selection in the domestic One-Day Cup for New South Wales and is set to participate in the upcoming

Big Bash League (BBL) with the Sydney Sixers. Henriques has one season left on his BBL contract, a league in which he has enjoyed considerable success, winning the championship three times and holding the record for the highest number of appearances.

On the international stage, Henriques represented Australia in four Test matches, 16 One Day Internationals (ODIs), and 24 T20 Internationals (T20Is), amassing a total of 636 runs and taking 17 wickets between 2009 and 2021. As he transitions into this new phase of his career, fans will be eager to see how he continues to contribute to Australian cricket.
