“Mumbai Ka Sabse Expensive Car,” Says Prithvi Shaw As He Rides In An Autorickshaw

Recently, Prithvi Shaw, the Indian opener, was photographed in Mumbai relaxing on an autorickshaw ride.

On Friday, June 9, he gave fans a peek at his journey through an Instagram story.

A brief video Shaw shared on social media showed him riding in the autorickshaw. As the most expensive car in Mumbai, he also sarcastically referred to the three-wheeler.

Shaw had a great start to his Test career, smashing a brilliant century on his debut against the West Indies in October 2018. But after a string of subpar performances, he was demoted from the team.

The right-handed batsman made waves in domestic cricket this year with a 379-run knock against Assam in the Ranji Trophy, impressing many with his batting prowess.

In January, he was called up to the national team as a result of his domestic cricket matches.

He was included in the T20I squad for the three-match home series against New Zealand, but he had to sit on the sidelines the entire time.

During the IPL 2023, Prithvi Shaw struggled to make an impact with the bat

In order to reclaim his spot in India’s white-ball teams, Prithvi Shaw considered the recently finished Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) season to be of the utmost importance.

In recent years, Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, and Ruturaj Gaikwad appeared to have trumped Shaw in the selection process.

Shaw was also frequently passed over by the selectors. Shaw was unable to start for the Delhi Capitals (DC) in IPL 2023, much to the dismay of the fans.

After failing to perform in the first few games, he was even removed from the starting XI.

While he did recover by scoring 54 runs against Punjab Kings (PBKS) upon his return. The 23-year-old had a terrible season overall.

Shaw finished with 106 runs from his eight appearances, averaging 13 points.

The Capitals had a terrible season and were the first team knocked out of the race for the playoffs.

DC finished ninth in the points standings with five victories from 14 games.
