New LLC Franchises Announced: Urbanrisers Hyderabad And Southern Super Stars

Legends League Cricket (LLC) introduced two new franchises for its eagerly awaited upcoming season, scheduled to take place in five Indian cities from November 18 to December 9, 2023.

The first franchise, Urbanrisers Hyderabad, is owned by the renowned Urbanrise Group in partnership with Mr. JC Pavan Reddy, the Managing Director of Trident Power Pvt Ltd.

This consortium boasts an impressive valuation surpassing $7 billion and represents a strong partnership between sports and corporate excellence.

Legends League Cricket added two new team partners, making it more diverse

The Urbanrise/Alliance Group, the largest real estate developer in South India, has made this strategic decision as part of its wider diversification initiatives, encompassing ventures into battery minerals mining, artificial intelligence, and age reversal technologies.

It’s worth noting that their mining subsidiary, “First Lithium,” was recently listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, and the organization receives financial support from prominent global financial institutions.

Mr. JC Pavan Reddy has a strong commitment to grassroots sports development, and his experience as the President of the Andhra Pradesh Olympic Association will offer valuable insights to the Urbanrisers Hyderabad team.

Legends League Cricket revealed the second franchise for the upcoming season, which is the Southern Super Stars. The team is now owned by a consortium of cricket enthusiasts with a broad range of backgrounds in industries including manufacturing, IT, energy, real estate, hospitality, and media, collectively possessing a net worth surpassing $2 billion.

KLO Sports, founded by Sanjay Jupudi and Srinadh Chitoori, is managing this venture, and they will be joined by Ranjeeth Rathod and Gautam Reddy, who will play key roles in steering the Southern Super Stars to success with their vision and expertise.

Sanjay Jupudi, an experienced serial entrepreneur, established the US-based IT company Qentelli, catering to renowned Fortune 500 clients.

Srinadh Chitoori, a third-generation businessman from Vizag, has a diverse business portfolio spanning automobiles, construction, and real estate.

Ranjeeth Rathod, another entrepreneur with extensive experience in real estate, hospitality, and investments, brings valuable management skills to the group.

Gautam Reddy, a Chennai-based first-generation entrepreneur in the clean energy sector, has undertaken entrepreneurship ventures in various industries such as chemicals, textiles, real estate, F&B, and more, further strengthening the team’s management capabilities.
