New Zealand Announce Squad For 3 Match T20I Series Against Bangladesh

New Zealand has announced a 13 member squad for the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh. After the conclusion of the ODI series, New Zealand and Bangladesh will play a 3 match T20I series. The hosts have included some new faces but will still be without their skipper Kane Williamson during the T20I series.

Kane Williamson, Trent Boult, Mitchell Santner, Kyle Jamieson, Jimmy Neesham and Tim Seifert has been given a break to spend time with their family before they leave for IPL 2021. Finn Allen who was recently named in RCB’s squad for IPL 2021 has received his maiden call-up for the T20I series against Bangladesh.

Also, fast bowlers Lockie Ferguson and Adam Milne return to the squad after injury lay-offs. The two have been precisely picked keeping the ICC T20I world cup in mind which will be played later this year in India. In absence of Kane Williamson, Tim Southee will be once again leading the New Zealand side.

Apart from him, Will Young has also been picked in the New Zealand side for the first time after he scored 297 runs in the Super Smash.
