New Zealand vs India 2020: 5th T20I – Dream 11, Fantasy Tips, Predicted XI & Match Prediction

Team India have sealed on the crucial moments in the ongoing series to go 4-0 up in the five-match series against New  Zealand. The Men in Blues will look to keep up their winning run and inflict a whitewash when they lock horns in the fifth and the final match of the series on February 2 at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.

The Kiwis will have a tough task as they will be desperate to finish the series on a winning note. They have failed to cash in on the crucial moments in the last two matches to lose the game in the super over. New Zealand will have to find answers to finish the matches and they will have some 24 hours to find an answer to it. Skipper Kane Williamson is likely to return action after missing the last match with a shoulder injury.

On the other hand, India will continue to experiment with their playing XI to test their bench strength ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia. Spinner Kuldeep Yadav is likely to come in place of Yuzvendra Chahal while wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson is likely to get an extended run. Otherwise, the playing XI looks all set and will be eying to do what they have done in the last four matches.

Dream 11 & Fantasy Report

First of all, it is crucial to select a team. As they say in cricket, you don’t score any runs in the dressing room. Similarly, a player who is not playing cannot score points for you. In fact, Dream 11 has brought a change in its rule by which you can alter your team even after the toss.

Thus, you can pick your team according to the playing XI of both sides. Secondly, it is pivotal to pick the right combination of captain and vice-captain. A captain gets twice the points whereas the deputy of the team receives points at 1.5 times. Thus, it is imperative to select the in-form players as your respective captain and vice-captain.

It is also crucial to get top-order batsmen in the team. They are likely to score the major chunk of the score. Furthermore, it is pivotal to check the pitch conditions and select the team accordingly.

Pitch Conditions

Bay Oval, over the years, has produced batting turf giving tough times to the bowlers. The highest score knocked in this ground is 243 for five achieved by the home side. Moreover, the teams batted first have won all the five matches played in Mount Maunganui. As a result, the team winning the toss will look to bat first and pile up pressure on the oppositions.

Match Prediction

Luck has not favoured New Zealand as they have gone down in the last over in the last two matches. While the Black Caps will be desperate to finish the series with the win, India look hot favourite to win the last match and inflict a 5-0 whitewash.
