“Nice And Challenging” – Yashasvi Jaiswal Talks About His First Year In International Cricket
Yashavi Jaiswal breaks into top 20 of batters rankings

Team India batter Yashasvi Jaiswal has been impressive in his short International career so far. He termed his experience with the team ‘nice and challenging’ over the last year or so in International cricket. He has been in fine form in the test series against England.

Yashasvi Jaiswal is the leading run-scorer so far in the series, with 618 runs at an average of 103, with two centuries and two fifties to his name, including a highest score of 214. He has helped India to take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series. Talking about his stint with the Indian team so far, Yashasvi Jaiswal said,

“It’s been nice and challenging as well. I’ve been trying to learn how to play on different wickets and make sure that I stay for a long time. It’s been one year with the Indian team, and I have had a lot of talks with Rahul sir and Rohit bhai on how to change my mindset, I’m trying to keep in mind what my team needs. I want to play according to the situation, I’m preparing the same during the net sessions, speaking with the seniors.”

Didn’t find a lot of difficulties: Yashasvi Jaiswal on the Ranchi pitch

Yashasvi Jaiswal slammed a fifty in the ongoing fourth Test at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi on Saturday. He scored 73 runs off 117 deliveries, with eight boundaries and a six. However, India suffered a collapse and was reduced to 219 for the loss of seven wickets at the end of the second day’s play. England scored 353 runs in the first innings, on the back of Joe Root’s century.

“I didn’t find a lot of difficulties (on this pitch), I was looking to think as to how I was going to bat, initially there was a lot of spins, so I was looking to get my bat in front of my pad, keep rotating the strike and find the boundaries,” Yashasvi Jaiswal said.
