“Oye, Ek Match To Jeetke Jao” – Twiterattis Troll CSK, MI As They Lose First Four Games In IPL 2022

Five-time IPL champion Mumbai Indians (MI) and defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have got off to the worst start possible, losing all four respective games so far in IPL 2022. Currently, CSK are at the bottom of the points table while MI sit just ahead of them by virtue of a better net run rate.

Defending 152 runs, Mumbai Indians failed to put up a good show with the ball. Anuj Rawat and Faf du Plessis got RCB off to a decent start before Virat Kohli dictated terms. The Royal Challengers cruised home in 18.3 overs with seven wickets in hand on Saturday.

Rawat played a fine hand of 66 runs while Kohli chipped in with a handy 48. Although both got out, Glenn Maxwell knocked two boundaries to take Bangalore home.

On the other hand, CSK’s losing streak continued as they went down against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Batting first, the yellow army could muster 154 runs in their quota of 20 overs. Hyderabad, who were coming on the back of two defeats on the trots, chased down the total with 14 balls to spare.

Abhishek Sharma and Kane Williamson led the charge with the bat for SRH, adding 89 runs for the first wicket. Although Williamson got out, Abhishek (75) and Rahul Tripathi (39* off 15 balls) ensured their side secure the first win of the season.

Fans were understandably disappointed to see two such champion teams get thrashed and expressed themselves on Twitter. Some also trolled MI and CSK for their poor start to the season and believe they are already out of the race for the playoffs.
