Pakistan Speedster Hasan Ali is all set to tie the knot to an Indian next month. Ali will be marrying Shamia Arzoo at Dubai on August 20th. Shamia hails from the Mewat district of Haryana. She has an engineering degree in Aeronautical sciences and currently working with Emirates airlines.
According to reports from Amar Ujala, the preparations are in a full swing for the event. Both the families will be reaching a few days ahead of the event. Reports also suggested that the ceremony will be taking place at Atlantis Palm Hotel, Dubai.
Hasan Ali has been one of the trump cards for the Pakistani side. His spells in 2017 Champions trophy helped the side clinch an ICC title after 2009. Though he had a golden run in most of the bilateral series, he wasn”t menacing in the World Cup 2019. This greatly affected Pakistan”s chances in the tournament.
The side will be expecting a lot from him ahead of the most awaited ICC test championship.
A trend, maybe?
Hasan Ali is no the first cricketer to follow this pattern of marrying an Indian. A few years back, Shoaib Malik expressed his love for Indian tennis star Sania Mirza. Not just cricketers but there are several other celebrities too who have set this trend.
