The Indian men’s cricket team will have a new set of coaches after the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Many fans would know by now that Ravi Shastri will not continue as the head coach of the Indian men’s cricket team after the Mega tournament. According to the Times of India, Rahul Dravid is all set to replace Shastri as the head coach. Also, Paras Mhambrey will reportedly take over as the new bowling coach of the Indian men’s cricket team after Bharat Arun.
While Dravid is a former Indian cricket team captain, Paras Mhambrey did not play much international cricket. The upcoming bowling coach of the Indian cricket team was a right-arm medium pacer. He was born on June 20, 1972, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Many Indian fans would remember that Paras Mhambrey made his Test debut for the Indian team on the same tour of England where Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and Venkatesh Prasad started their Test careers.
Till yesterday news reports were saying Rahul Dravid was going to stay at the NCA. Yet early morning news broke of him becoming India coach. So what happened around midnight? My best guess is Lord Shardul blew candles on his birthday cake wishing to be coached by Rahul bhai 😊
