Initially, the PCB was trying to finish the tournament by playing behind closed doors but as soon as several foreign players stated withdrawing from the league they had to cancel matches with the immediate effect.

The four teams that qualified for the playoffs in this year’s PSL are Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars. The remaining matches of the league are expected to be completed before the end of 2020 in Pakistan.
