The Indian head coach Ravi Shastri will be soon in thick of things when India tours Australia. Shastri has been in the commentary box in several great victories of India under MS Dhoni. On the other hand, he is now closely working with captain Virat Kohli as Indian cricket continue to rise.

Dhoni groomed Kohli as his deputy and when the time arrived he handed him the captaincy of India in all three formats. The two leaders have contrasting personalities which reflect in their captaincy method. Dhoni is cool as ice whereas Kohli is always animated and never shies away from getting under the skin of the opposition.

Ravi Shastri Shares His Views On MS Dhoni And Virat Kohli Captaincy

Recently Shastri was given a difficult task of comparing the captaincy of both the Indian cricket stalwarts. Shastri was quick to respond and pointed out that both are completely opposite to each other as leaders. Dhoni always remains calm and composed on the other hand Kohli is aggressive but the thing that remains the same is their success rate.

“One is calm and composed, other is in your face. Dhoni is calm, Virat is naturally aggressive. Both are very successful”, said Shastri to Times Now.

Meanwhile, Shastri further admired the incredible temperament and composure of Dhoni while leading the side. While talking about Kohli he stated that he takes it to the opposition while playing aggressively which is his strength as it comes naturally to him.
