Ravindra Jadeja has deleted all the Chennai Super Kings-related posts from the 2021 and 2022 campaigns, from his Instagram handle. Jadeja was named the skipper of the franchise after MS Dhoni had left the position ahead of the 2022 stint. Although, Jadeja-the captain affected the all-rounder’s individual performance, leading him to hand back the job to Dhoni, midway through the season.

Following the captaincy crisis, Jadeja was ruled out of the tournament due to an injury.  The 33-year-old took the field for the national side against Leicestershire last month, in a warm-up game. Jadeja went on to score his first overseas Test hundred in the recently concluded Birmingham Test. He scored a crucial knock of 104 runs in 194 deliveries, with 13 fours, in the first innings.

Coming towards the point, it primarily seems that Jadeja has removed all the posts related to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) from his official Instagram handle, and fans on Twitter, have noticed the change.

Although, the franchise recently made a complementary post for Jadeja after his ton against England, followed by one more post congratulating him after the BCCI announced the lefty all-rounder as the vice-captain for the upcoming ODI series against West Indies.

Furthermore, Jadeja recently opened up regarding his forgettable IPL season with CSK. He managed to score 116 runs and capture merely five wickets in 10 innings. Also, the team lost their first four encounters under his leadership.

In a press conference, after his Edgbaston heroics, Jadeja spoke, “What happened, happened. IPL was not on my mind. Whenever you are playing for India, your entire focus needs to be on the Indian team. It was the same for me.”

Besides, Jadeja will be back in action on Saturday (July 9), in Birmingham again, for the second T20I between India and England.
