Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly is celebrating his 50th birthday in London with his friends and family. The BCCI President was seen enjoying his time dancing near the London eye in the presence of his wife Dona and daughter Sana. The video clip has gone viral on social media with fans left in awe.

Sourav Ganguly’s teammates and fans flooded social media with wishes for the former Indian skipper. Among the wishes, Sourav Ganguly’s viral dancing video was also trending. He was dancing to Bollywood songs like ‘Om Shanti Om’, then ‘London Thumkada’ and more. The fans got to witness a different side of the former Indian cricketer.

Sourav Ganguly made his debut for India in an ODI match in 1992 against West Indies. Since then, he has played 311 ODI matches scoring 11363 runs at an average of 41.02. Ganguly has also scored over seven thousand runs representing the country in 113 Test matches. He has a total of thirty-eight centuries to his name across formats.

The left-handed batter also played in the Indian Premier League. He represented the Kolkata Knight Riders till 2010 and then played for the Pune Warriors India till 2012. In his 59 IPL matches career, Sourav Ganguly has scored 1349 runs at an average of 25.45.

In an interaction with Zee 24 Ghanta, Sourav Ganguly revealed in his 25 years of cricketing career, that the affection of fans has been his biggest gift. He expressed that the fans celebrate his success as their own. Sourav Ganguly said as quoted by Zee News,

“I have had a long career and the fact that one person playing well can bring joy to so many people… this has been my biggest gift in 50 years, or at least the last 25 years of my cricketing career. Can feel that with every success of mine, others (fans/supporters) feel successful. I have seen it in their eyes, the way they interact. It’s an absolute blessing.”
