We often about MS Dhoni-Suresh Raina as the Jay-Veeru Jodi of Indian Cricket. But we always forget talking about the relationship Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja share. It was under Dhoni’s captaincy Jadeja made his India debut and hasn’t looked back ever since.

Later in 2012, Jadeja was snapped up by Chennai Super Kings franchise which is led by Dhoni himself. Ever since that day, Jadeja has been an integral part of the CSK setup over the years. We could also go down to say that it was under Dhoni’s captaincy that Jadeja flourished to his very best.

Ravindra Jadeja shares heartfelt tribute to MS Dhoni

Ravindra Jadeja recently posted a throwback picture with CSK Skipper MS Dhoni to give tribute to former India cricketer. The photo posted on Instagram was captioned as “And when you smile. The whole world stops and stares for a while. ‘Cause, you’re amazing Just the way you are.”

The caption was actually quoted from the song ‘Just The Way You Are’ which is sung by Bruno Mars. From the caption, we could clearly make out the admiration Ravindra Jadeja has for Dhoni and wants to associate with him as long as possible.

On the other hand, the Chennai Super Kings franchise has been hit by a big blow. Their Star player Suresh Raina, who is also their vice Captain has returned back to India due to personal reasons.

On the other hand, CSK has been massively hit by COVID-19. Two cricketers along with 11 other support staffs have tested COVID-19 positive. As a result, the franchises will have to remain in quarantine for few more days before they begin training.

With CSK without their vice-captain for the upcoming season, we can expect Ravindra Jadeja to be named as the franchise’s deputy to MS Dhoni.
