In another heart wrenching game in Wellington, a game which again went into the super-over was again won by the Indians.

In the 4th T20I in Wellington, the Kiwi stand-in captain Tim Southee won the toss and elected to field, which meant India would bat and would have to defend the total.

India made three changes as last game's hero Rohit Sharma was rested along with Ravindra Jadeja and pace bowling hero Mohammed Shami. Sanju Samson, Navdeep Saini and Washington Sundar got a game instead of these three main players.

India batting first didn't have a very good start as opener Sanju Samson and Captain Virat Kohli fell inside the powerplay leaving India in a spot of bother. Shreyas Iyer was undone by Ish Sodhi and then followed in-form KL Rahul leaving India at 90 for 6.

Shardul Thakur and Manish Pandey stitched a good partnership as both the batsmen helped India reach a total of 165 for 8 at the end of 20 overs.Manish Pandey brought up a good and an important fifty helping India reach a total which could be defended on this ground.

Kiwi openers started off well and did extremely well with the bat as they started off cautiously and then put pressure on the Indian bowlers after the powerplay as the batsmen took the spinners to the cleaners.

Colin Munro scored his fifty and built a good partnership with Tim Seifert as the wicket-keeper  batsman also completed his fifty.

India were under tremendous pressure as only 11 runs were required by the kiwis to win the game, but the young Indian bowlers had something else in mind as Navdeep Saini and then Shardul Thakur bowled a magical spell.

Saini only conceeded 4 in the penultimate over and Shardul Thakur took four wickets in the last over as India played another super over against New Zealand in the span of 3 days.

The Indian batsmen were in no mood to lose the game as once agai it was upto KL Rahul and Virat Kohli with bat as Sanju Samson waited in the wings for India. It was the stand in captain Tim Southee who bowled the super-over for New ealand.

India started off the gae in terrific manner as the Indians as the Indians won the game in just 5 balls courtesy Rahul's blister in the first two balls.

Shardul Thakur was adjudged the Man of the Match for his terrific all-round performance.

India will now face New Zealand on 2nd February at Mount Maunganui for the final T20 of the tournament of the series.
