Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has been the talk of the town ever since his match-winning innings in the final Test in Brisbane. His unbeaten 89 helped India chase down 328 needed to win on the final day of the match. Upon his return to India and after a much-needed break he is now in Chennai with Team India ahead of the first Test He has very quickly won the nod of the first-choice wicket-keeper in the Indian Test team.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Pant took to Twitter to share an interesting tweet. The young gloveman wrote that ever since he returned from Australia, his family is after him to buy a new house. Pant sought suggestions from Twitterati about the location where he should buy a new home.

On the other hand, Pant finished as India’s highest run-getter in the recently concluded series against Australia. He scored 274 runs from three Tests. He now focused on his preparations with Team India for the upcoming tour against England.
England will face the Asian giants in a series across formats starting from February 5. Both teams will lock horns in a four-match Test series as a part of the ICC World Test Championship followed by 5 T20Is and 3 ODIs. Chennai will host the first two Tests before both teams move to Ahmedabad for the last two Tests and the five T20Is.
England are heading into the series after clean sweeping Sri Lanka in the two-Test match series at Galle. They are fourth on the World Test Championship points table. In their last tour to India in 2016-17, they lost the Test series 4-0 to Virat Kohli’s men.
Following their stay in Ahmedabad, both teams will shift their base to Pune for the final leg of the tour where they play three ODIs before returning to England.
