Watch – Rishabh Pant Trolls Sam Billings In Delhi Capitals’ Training Session

Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant is known for his jolly behaviour and fun-loving person. He has been caught several times making funny statements from behind the wickets. The youngster was once again seen trolling teammate Sam Billings in the Delhi Capitals training session ahead of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

In the absence of regular skipper Shreyas Iyer, who is out with a dislocated shoulder, Rishabh Pant will lead the side in IPL 2021. He has been in incredible form of late after his knocks for India and he would be looking to replicate the same even in the IPL and lead the side from the front. The cricketer from Delhi has already stated that his aim will be to take Delhi Capitals to the title in the upcoming season.

In the meantime, Pant’s banter with batsmen has continued even during net sessions. In the DC’s practice session, he was seen, having some fun with the English cricketer Sam Billings. Rishabh Pant came up with hilarious talks when the English batter was finding it tough to play spin-bowling.

Delhi Capitals captioned the video and wrote, “@rishabpant can’t resist himself behind the stumps, even during practice.”

Meanwhile, ever since he has been appointed as the skipper of Delhi Capitals, Rishabh Pant has received wholehearted support from all quarters. Steve Smith, who’s a part of the Capitals this season, reckons that Pant has the potential to succeed as the captain. Smith sounded excited to play under Pant’s leadership.

“I’m excited to see Rishabh (Pant) as captain. I think he is an incredible player, as we have seen over the last few months. He has taken his game to a new level, and I think captaincy will suit him really well. So, excited to work underneath him, and hopefully, we can have a successful season,” Smith was quoted as saying.

Delhi Capitals begin their IPL 2021 campaign against Chennai Super Kings on April 10 (Saturday) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
