Former Indian batsman and Kerala ODI team Captain has chosen his ODI team of the decade. Robin Uthappa who was a vital cog in India”s success in T20 World cup in 2007, chose his ODI team on New Years Eve.
Many cricketers and analysts were seen choosing their team ofthe decade and Robin Uthappa also didn”t waste anytime in choosing his team of the decade. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers were common names which could be seen all the Team Of the Decade.
Uthappa had some big names in his team such as the India”s world cup hero Yuvraj Singh and the Aussie Steve Smith. The Indian middle order batsman chose Rohit Sharma and Chris Gayle as the openers in the team.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the most unprecedented name in the list as the former India captain is the only captain to have won all the three ICC championship with two of the ICC trophies coming in 2011 and 2013.
AB de Villiers who announced his retirement in 2018 was also in the team as he was the No.1 ODI batsman from 2015 until 2017 when the Indian captain Virat Kohli took over.

Robin Uthappa was recently bought by the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL Auctions for 3 crore after the Karnataka lad had been released by his previous team Kolkata knight Riders for who he had played trade for 8 years helping them win 2 IPL titles and helping them reach the finals of Champions League in 2014.
