Yuzvendra Chahal yesterday announced his engagement with popular choreographer and doctor Dhanashree Verma. The cricketer posted photos of his Roka ceremony on all his social media profiles.

Dhanashree is a digital content creator on Youtube and Instagram and also a doctor. As soon as the news broke out, all of Yuzvendra Chahal’s teammates and fans congratulated the couple and gave them their good wishes.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma who is known for his online banter with Chahal congratulated him in his unique style. Rohit on his official twitter profile posted a meme of two Royal Challengers Bangalore fans in which an old man resembled Yuzvendra Chahal.

The meme read “Yuzvendra Chahal with a youngster in IPL 2050,”. Rohit captioned the photo as, “Bhai congrats on your engagement. Best wishes @yuzi_chahal.”

This is certainly not the first and last time when Rohit Sharma has sarcastically trolled Yuzvendra Chahal. In the past few months, the two have regularly pulled each other legs by taking sarcastic jabs at each other. The two Indian cricketers have been extremely active on social media and never leave a chance to show their funny sides by writing hilarious comments.

Earlier this month when Chahal celebrated his 30th birthday, Rohit announced the leg spinner as a ‘national treasure’. The two will be playing against each other in the upcoming Indian Premier League in UAE.

Chahal will be the mainstay of the bowling attack of Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Virat Kohli-led side will be aiming to win their maiden IPL trophy in the UAE. On the other hand, Rohit will be leading the defending Champions Mumbai Indians who will be aiming to lift their 5th IPL title this year.

Rohit Sharma will return from an injury he sustained during India’s tour of New Zealand. As a result, he missed the ODIs and Test series against the Kiwis.
