Brilliance From Rohit Sharma In The Field Results In A Run-Out
The Indian vice-captain executed a brilliant run-out and ended the innings of Jason Roy. The batsman Johnny Bairstow immediately ran after hitting the ball towards mid-wicket where Rohit Sharma was fielding. The non-striker Jason Roy was ball-watching but still, Bairstow called him for a quick single. Rohit sensed an opportunity and quickly ran towards his right and executed a full stretched dive.
As soon as Rohit saved the delivery there was clear miss-communication between Roy and Bairstow as Rohit quickly threw the ball to Rishabh Pant. Eventually, Roy was nowhere near the crease and Pant removed the bails. Rohit and the Indian team was ecstatic as they finally got the wicket of the dangerman Roy who was looking to accelerate. Roy scored 55 from 52 but couldn’t make it a big courtesy of a splendid fielding effort from Rohit Sharma.
