The two superstars of Indian cricket – Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have come up with unique tweets, days before the start of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Incidentally, Kohli and Rohit will lock horns in IPL 2021 season opener on April 9 when Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore will face each other at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Whenever Bangalore and Mumbai have gone up against each other, it has been no short of a mouth-watering clash. Although Mumbai Indians have an upper hand with 19 wins as compared to Royal Challengers Bangalore’s 10, Virat Kohli & Co has never failed to put up a fight to make it exciting for the fans. RCB will be looking to improve their record this year as they look to win their first-ever IPL trophy. MI, on the other hand, will be eyeing history as they can become the first-ever team to win the IPL thrice in a row.
Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma tweet ahead of IPL 2021 opener
A couple of days ahead of the start of the cash-rich league, two superstars of Indian Cricket – Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have come up with unique tweets on their respective Twitter handles. Kohli was the first to tweet. He started by telling the fans that Royal Challengers Bangalore are back before talking about the tournament-opener against Mumbai. Kohli interestingly asked the fans to tell him his mantra of playing bold.

Moments later, Rohit Sharma came up with a similar tweet. He called RCB one of the best teams before he too asked the fans the mantra to win the game which will set the balls rolling for this season of IPL.
