The Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar scored the ultimate 100th hundred on the 16th of March 2012 against Bangladesh in Mirpur thus becoming the only man on earth to reach the milestone in the history of the game. The Mumbaikar was under tremendous pressure leading into the Asia Cup as the cricketing fraternity wanted Sachin Tendulkar to call it quits on his illustrious career paving way for the youngsters knocking the selector’s doors.

The highest run-getter in the history of the game scored a 147-ball 114 run knock against Bangladesh to mark his last ton in international cricket in the coloured jersey of Team India. After calling time on his 24-year-old international career, Tendulkar finished with 49 ODI and 51 Test hundreds taking the tally to 100.

Sachin Tendulkar Cuts Cake To Celebrate 9th Anniversary of 100th Century Milestone

To mark the 9th anniversary of the 100th hundred milestone, Sachin Tendulkar was seen cutting a cake to celebrate the marvellous achievement. Tendulkar who is currently captaining the India Legends side in the Road Safety World Series, cut the cake in presence of his former India teammates Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag, Mohammed Kaif etc.

Former India cricketer Pragyan Ojha, who played his last Test in 2013 which was also Sachin Tendulkar’s farewell Test, posted a video of Sachin Tendulkar cutting the cake on his social media accounts.

Talking about the Road Safety World Series, Tendulkar has looked in fine nick displaying his range of shots right from the paddle sweep to the iconic straight drive. During India Legends’ recent outing against England Legends’, Sachin Tendulkar scored 60 runs off 37 deliveries at a strike rate of 133.98 opening the innings with Virender Sehwag.
