Out of favour Team India cricketer, Suresh Raina and his wife Priyanka Raina were blessed with a baby boy on March 23. This is their second child after the couple welcomed a daughter in 2016, naming her Gracia Raina. Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to congratulate the power couple.

As the world dooms over the coronavirus pandemic, the news brought a new ray of light for the Raina family. Suresh Raina married his lady love, Priyanka Chaudhary tied the knot on April 3, 2015. Raina and Priyanka were childhood friend but they were hardly in touch after Priyanka’s family shifted base to Punjab. Finally, the families met together to arrange the marriage.

Raina took to social media platforms to share the delightful news with his fans and followers. The southpaw also revealed the name of their new son – Rio Raina and hoped that he brings peace to everyone’s life.

“The beginning of all things – wonder, hope, possibilities and a better world! We are proud to welcome our son & Gracia’s little brother – Rio Raina. May he flows beyond boundaries, bringing peace, renewal & prosperity to everyone’s life,” Raina tweeted on Monday.

Wishes and congratulatory message flooded the social media once the news broke out. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar also joined the bandwagon in congratulating the power couple and wishing him good health.

“Welcome to the world Baby Rio Raina!Many congratulations to Priyanka & Suresh! God bless him with the best of health,” Sachin Tendulkar tweeted. 

Speaking on the work front, Suresh Raina returned back home from Chennai amid the coronavirus outbreak. The practice session was called off after BCCI decided to postpone the league until April 15, which was slated to commence from March 29.  On the other hand, the Road Safety World Series was called off where Sachin Tendulkar was leading the Indian Legends.
