Sachin Tendulkar has come ahead and lent his assistance towards 560 children belonging from the economically underdeveloped section. The ‘little master’ has tied hands with an NGO to encourage and help 560 tribal children.

Tendulkar’s foundation will now implement sustained meals and education to Kids from villages Sewaniya, Beelpati, Khapa, Nayapura and Jamunjheel in Sehore district. The children are predominantly from Barela Bhil and Gond tribes.

Tendulkar supports economically weak children

“This initiative by Sachin is testimony to his concern towards tribal children in Madhya Pradesh who have been plagued by malnutrition and illiteracy,” a press release stated.

The cricket legend has time and time come onward to help the less fortunate in his capacity. His work towards the foundation of children, especially those relating to the marginalised and the not so economically prosperous section of the society, is well recognised.

Meanwhile, Tendulkar has also been previously associated with numerous initiatives for underprivileged children in the country. Recently he came ahead to provide monetary assistance towards the surgery of children from low budgetary backgrounds at SRCC Children’s Hospital in Mumbai.

Also In December 2019, Tendulkar through the ‘Spreading Happiness InDiya Foundation’, set up solar light systems to render green power to run digital classrooms, furnished with modern medians of learning, and recreations convenience at Shri Gadge Maharaj Ashram School, Mumbai.

Moreover when Dalbir Singh Gill, a former cricketer who played at the under-17 level with Tendulkar was aided during trying times. He was injured in a road accident in 2002. He had to undergo a hip replacement operation in 2010 and can walk again as Tendulkar himself took care of all the expenses for him.

Tendulkar also has adopted two villages to completely take care of under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana Scheme. The legendary cricketer retired from the game in 2013 and since then have been actively involved in noble causes.
