Newly-wed Sanjana Ganesan will resume her IPL 2021 duties post marriage. Sanjana was back to work as she was seen hosting the pre-match show on Star Sports before the second ODI between India and England. Now she will be hosting the IPL pre-match show BYJU’s cricket live on Star Sports. The show will be hosted by other anchors in various other languages as well. Sanjana married Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah on March 15 in Goa.

Sanjana Ganesan is one of the 18-member team that is supposed to host all pre and post-match shows for IPL 2021 for Star Sports and she is back to her duty within a month of her marriage. The newly-wed recently took Instagram to share a throwback picture captioned as: “Memories worth a lifetime & then some.” Reacting on it, his Indian pacer Bumrah commented: “The person clicking the picture is really good.” The string of responses did not halt there as Sanjana, in response, posted “That’s why I married him.”

Meanwhile, Bumrah is out of quarantine and is all set to play the first match against Royal Challengers Bangalore later tonight in Chennai. The game marks the comeback of Jasprit Bumrah after a month’s hiatus from the game.

Meanwhile, the BCCI has announced the list of commentators and hosts who will be busy broadcasting all the IP matches across various Star Sports platforms in different languages.

The BCCI came out with the schedule back in the first week of March. The eight participating franchises will meet each other twice in a round-robin format during the league phase before the top four battle out in the Playoffs, followed by the final in Ahmedabad.

The evening games of IPL 2021 are scheduled to start each day at 7:30 pm IST, while on double-headers days, the afternoon fixtures will commence at 3:30 pm IST. In all, there will be a total of 11 doubleheaders where six teams will play three afternoon matches and two sides will play two matches in the afternoon.
