Shikhar Dhawan is rumoured to make his acting debut soon. According to reports, it will be a full length role and not a cameo. Dhawan is one of the most popular cricketers not only in India but across the world. Shikhar Dhawan regularly posts on social media and always catches up with trends.
Dhawan almost always tries to get a lot of social media engagement through his Bollywood retakes and reels. He posts a lot with his family members especially his son Zoravar whom he loves the most. He has featured a lot on Dhawan’s social media.
In October last year, Shikhar was spotted on the sets of Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu, which also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuch. This led to rumours that the cricketer is a part of the film.
“Shikhar always had huge respect for actors, and when he was offered this part he was happy to come aboard. The makers felt that Shikhar suits the character and reached out to him a few months back. It’s a proper full length role and is not a cameo. His part is pivotal to the film, which is expected to release sometime this year,” a source said according to PinkVilla.
However, according to PinkVilla sources, it’s not Ram Setu that Shikhar is making his debut with. Interestingly, Shikhar and Akshay are close friends, which is why he was just visiting him on the set.

Shikhar Dhawan is also known for sharing a close bond with famous Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. Dhawan had shared a picture with the actor in December last year and captioned it as, “Lovely meeting you as always bro. Big congratulations on the success of 83. Enjoyed watching it. Amazing movie.”

If reports are meant to be true, Shikhar Dhawan has already finished shooting for the film and official news regarding the film should be out soon.
