Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has expressed his desire to train to the Indian fast bowlers in the future. Akhtar, who has been a terror for the batters in his prime, revealed during an interaction session with the fans on a social media platform.

The Rawalpindi Express has been one of the legendary fast bowlers to come out of Pakistan alongside Imran Khan, Waqar Younis, and Wasim Akram. In his career which spanned for over a decade, Shoaib Akhtar has scalped 178 Test wickets, 248 ODIs, and 19 T20Is wickets. His aggression and raw pace were a testimony of his fast bowling and has been successful in almost all part of the globe.

Akhtar, who is known for calling a spade a spade, has never shied away from passing knowledge onto the future generation cricketers. And, recently, the former pacer revealed that he would be more than happy to do the same with Indian bowlers in an interview on social networking app, Helo.

 “I will definitely. My job is to spread knowledge. What I have learned is knowledge and I will spread it. I will produce more aggressive, fast and more talkative bowlers than the current ones who will tell-off the batsmen in a way that you will enjoy a lot,” Akhtar said.

Furthermore, Shoaib Akhtar has also shown interest to coach Indian Premier League franchise Kolkata Knight Riders. Incidentally, Akhtar was a part of the franchise as a player in the inaugural edition in 2008 under the leadership of Sourav Ganguly. He bowled some outstanding spells at the Eden Gardens including the famous four for 11 against Delhi Daredevils.
